Dear Family Reunion Friends,

On your mark, get set, GO! It’s family reunion season! Whether you're the planner or just an attendee, be sure to grab your frisbees, sunscreen and sense of humor before heading out the door. Wear some thick skin, too, for dealing with that Crazy Cousin Cal. After all –

The problem with the gene pool is that there are no life guards. ;)

Even though our families aren't perfect, deep down, we ALL want better relationships. Why? Because it's the connections with people that really matter in this life. I’m sure at least some of these quotes and sayings will apply to your family. Use them to help keep you motivated and inspired!

I get to attend 2 different family reunions this month. For the first one, we've all been asked to bring a "favorite thing" for a surprise game. I'm taking my homemade foot cream, which I LOVE, and can't wait to see what everyone else brings and what that activity is all about!

Newly made Kube pieces

For the second reunion, we are taking a lawn game called "Kubb," which is also sometimes called "Viking Chess." It's so simple and accommodates people of all ages and skill! You throw sticks at wooden cubes to knock them over. How hard can that be? I can’t wait to report on how it goes.

Homemade cousin books ready to go

I'm also taking homemade books for the cousins to fill with trivia, fun facts and photos. I have this idea in my head of how I hope this activity will go – and how much everyone will love it. I just hope that it's as meaningful and memorable in real life as it is in my imagination!

Does anyone have t-shirts at your family reunion? It's a concept I love but have never been privy to. Ever since starting, I have been searching for a t-shirt affiliate. You know – a company that would save YOU, the reader, time and money and one that I would be proud to recommend. For a while I even thought I could sell my own and came up with some great little designs. (Well, *I* thought the designs were great.) A few orders came in but not enough to warrant my time.

Needless to say, I stopped selling my own t-shirts and designs and went searching for a company that I could recommend.

I could find excellent customer service, but the shirts were over priced. I could find inexpensive shirts, but there was never anyone available to answer questions. I could find great online design software but the check out process was confusing. I could even find cheap shirts that were shipped quickly and backed by great customer service - but the design options were shoddy. I’ve simply never been able to find quite the right fit.

Until now. (insert music here: da, da-da, daaah!)

If you need to order t-shirts for your family reunion, please check out my newest affiliate, DesignAShirt! You can easily design your own shirt based on fun examples and ideas, the pricing is great, customer service is outstanding, and production time is some of the shortest I've found. Give them a try and let me know what you think!

As a matter of fact, I would love to know – in general – what you do at your family reunion and how it’s received. Tell us your stories!

As always, I wish you much continued SUCCESS and many happy travels this summer reunion season.
