family reunion success on facebook

I am so excited about this!!

You are invited to attend a LIVE question and answer session on Facebook on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1ST, 11:00 a.m. PST (12:00 noon MST, 1:00 p.m. CST, 2:00 p.m. EST).

I have 3 guess panelists lined up and each are bringing some really fun DOOR PRIZES to be given out during our Q&A. You must be present to win!

  • Pamela Clark, owner, Zion vacation homes

Pamela Clark is a chef, wedding planner, venue operations manager, family reunion facilitator and caterer near Zion National Park in southern Utah. She works for the family development and ranch in east Zion, which has been in the family for 45 years. She currently resides there with her husband and very active quadruplet five year olds.

Pamela is donating our GRAND PRIZE – a 2-night getaway in one of her luxurious mountain retreat homes!! Some of the details, as well as links to the properties, are here:

  • Mark Askew, founder, Finmark Home Online

Finmark Home Online is a family oriented special occasions event planning resource center. Mark is the sole developer of the tools, templates, printables and worksheets found on the site at

Mark and his wife, Brenda, authored the recently released the guidebook "Fimark's Family Reunion Planner - A Guide Workbook and Keepsake," available in paperback from .

Two signed copies of their workbook keepsake will be given away during the Q&A!

  • Karen Eggett, owner, Custom Family Tree Art

Custom Family Tree Art was founded because Karen wanted a way to include her extended family in her home; a way to remember them on a daily basis. She explored the various family tree options and discovered that none of them were something she'd want to hang in her home. She wanted a piece of art, not a boring pedigree chart.

Karen is donating a $25 gift certificate to our event!

So far, I’ve taught "How to share your family history with a Family Tree Poster" and "Personalized Playing Cards." Both were well-attended and a success! This month, I’m offering a more general class/webinar that will highlight several photo projects that you can create online with Heritage Makers for your family reunion.

I can’t help it! I just love all the family bonding activities that can be personalized with YOUR photos. Some of the ones I’ve made are online here: I still think playing cards are among my MOST favorite.

You can read all about my involvement with Heritage Makers and why I recommend them here:

The class is:
Friday, June 3rd, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. PST
(11:00 a.m. MST, 12 noon CST, 1:00 p.m. EST)

My son asked me the other day if 1+1 ever equals 3. "Well, of course not," I replied.

But I’ve been thinking about it. And I think 1+1 CAN equal 3… It’s called synergy and it’s happening at as YOU post your stories and answer questions online.

So as you attend committee planning meetings and reunions this summer, don’t forget to report back on your successes! We want to hear your stories.

Do you have any favorite family reunion vendors? If so, please share!

And, of course, you’re always welcome to announce your family reunion.

If you’re headed off to a reunion and not feeling as prepared as you could be, take my e-book with you! It’s a simple, comprehensive and FAST approach to family reunion planning and includes 50+ pages of games, tips, activities and ideas that require few props and very little preparation.

The kids are out of school in 9 more days and then it’s to the pool we go! I love summers with my kids and look forward to spending time with them. I am so, so blessed to be able to work at home and I love my website!

As always, I welcome your comments and feedback - simply reply to this email.

All my best,
Family Reunion Guru, Photo Junkie and Heritage Maker!
