There are SO many great things going on at! And I thank you for being a part of it. I love that so many families are announcing and planning their reunions online.

Your emails are refreshing and I feel like we're really growing a solid online community of family reunion planners.

Don't forget – you are always welcome and encouraged to share your own family reunion stories, ideas and expertise with others. There are also a variety of family reunion-related questions that have been posted online and you're welcome and encouraged to join the conversations there, too.

It's been awhile since I've mailed an issue of Kindred Connections but that's not because I don't have connections with kindred! In reality, the exact opposite is true.

FAMILY is always my most important priority and sometimes (lately more often than not) I opt to spend time as a wife and mother over assembling and sending the newsletter.

But there are some exciting things happening. For example…

I'm pleased to announce and invite you to a FREE ONLINE CLASS. It's titled "How to share your family history with a Family Tree Poster," and I will be teaching you how to make a poster of your family tree with photos.

As you know, I am passionate about families and pictures and am continually brainstorming ways to incorporate family history photos at the family reunion. My Family Tree Poster is the result of one of those brainstorming sessions!

Wouldn't it be exciting if the littlest ones in attendance, as well as their parents, understood EXACTLY where they belonged in the family tree? If they could SEE exactly who they are related to and how?

The class is:
Tue, Apr 5, 2011 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM PDT
(that’s… 1:00 pm MST, 2:00 pm CST, 3:00 pm EST)
Save your spot!

Also, there’s now a page on Facebook. Stop by, give us a "like" and join the conversation! For the last several days, I’ve been posting conversation starter questions.

Any time you post an answer to any of the questions, you’re entered into the drawing for a FREE conversation swatchbook. I have to be honest and tell you that right now, your chances of winning are pretty good. So don't miss your chance to play along! You have just a couple more days, as the winner will be chosen on Wednesday.

Here’s something else that I’m excited about…

Personalized family tree gifts with meaningful quotes. Everyone is always asking me how to make a family tree. So my friend, Lacey, and I have been brainstorming for quite some time and finally came up with something that we both love – a family tree scroll with pictures.

It’s a beautiful home décor piece that’s reasonably priced and easily personalized. Better yet, Lacey is giving readers a 10% discount! It’s the perfect family reunion gift for honoring someone special.

I love what I do! Who knew that working from home could ever be so much fun. I even made up a new title for myself – it's somewhat lengthy but I think it fits perfectly. What about you? As always, I welcome your comments and feedback - simply reply to this email.

All my best,
Family Reunion Guru, Photo Junkie and Heritage Maker!
{Add meaning. Make memories.}
