Here is the menu. we are feeding 61 adults/youth (the heavyweights) and 19 birdlike eaters. This is counting everyone but those on missions, girls camp, or Karin's family might not all be there due to an earlier wedding in the month. so......Why I'm telling you this: Save money. Please be prepared to give money at the camp to the person who buys the groceries. I don't want to collect money it is a horrid option, but for 2 meals, I need to collect. so please prepare your minds for this.
here is the menu (let this help you guage how much you should set aside for food)
June 24th dinner: potluck 1 main dish enough to feed your brood and 1 side. This will be eaten by those in camp. late comers do drive through at KFC. assume there is little or no food left in camp by 6pm. dinner will have started 30 min earlier.
June 25th Breakfast: In Chiefs cabin. Chiefs are Linda, Diane, Bruce, Phillip. Each family will gather to their chief and eat there. Plan within your family what that meal will be.
June 25th Lunch: (collecting money for this one) Hamburgers, hotdogs, buns, condiments, watermelon, chips, potato salad, brownies, cookies, ice water, veggie tray and dip.
June 25th Dinner: (collecting money for this one) chinese chicken salad, won ton strips, almonds, dressing, dinner rolls, butter, peach cobblers, ice cream, hot cocoa, ice water.
June 26th Breakfast: something simple in the chiefs cabin again plan this within your family.
we have 18 incomes to split the above costs. I did not count any of the newly marrieds in this 18. nor did I count any families out of work right now. let me do the math.....
well I can't . I can't do math. just save up each month so this is not a blow. I'll try to do the math closer to the time.
