Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beach or North Litchfield Beach offer many wonderful affordable large vacation rental homes in a family-friendly beach area. We had three family reunions in beautiful uncrowded North Litchfield, approximately a half hour drive south of Myrtle Beach (away from the tacky tourism scene but close enough to enjoy it if you want). It's also a 2 hr drive north of the larger airport in North Charleston. My family rented two beach homes in North Litchfield. Family also came and stayed at our home which is now currently being used as a rental. Our house worked out great because we have a large play yard for children and a big beautiful yard for outdoor parties. Families tend to return every year once they've discovered the beautiful Pawleys/Litchfield beach area. It's the best part of the Grand Strand. It's a very laid back fun place to be with a lot to offer. |
