Elk on front lawn in Estes Park
Great location, quiet little tourist town. About 1.5 hours NW of Denver high up in the mountains. We stayed at the World Mark condo's right on the river. Saw elk wander by the last morning we were there! We only spent one day in Rocky Mountain National Park but it was beautiful. Lots of lakes to hike into (which we didn't have enough energy to do!) Shopping, dining, golfing, swimming, walking, fun park for kids, etc. right there in town. Mary's Lake Lodge had fabulous food and wonderful view while eating.
