A Piece of Home

One year for our family reunion when our old home place was torn down, I asked for a scrap of wood from the owner of our old home. I made resin casting (I only had flexible lemon wedge ice trays to use) and embedded a small chip of wood in each piece. Then I copied a picture of my Mom and Dad, with this poem.
Where ever you may wander,
Where ever you may roam,
As long as you have this,
You'll always have a
piece of home.
This is not exact wording, you can make it to suit yourself, but it was received extremely well. It made a nice give away.
