Every once in a while I run into these especially poignant quotes or sayings that hit me over the head. Here's the most recent -

Don't you think that we all have to act, dream, plan and believe in having a great family?? Strong and healthy family relationships take WORK - they don't just happen automatically.

If you've ever planned (or attended) a family reunion, you know exactly what I'm talking about! {wink}

Speaking of work...

Most family reunions are held in July. And, if yours is in July (like mine) and you aren't well on your way to planning a great family gathering, it's time to kick it into high gear (like I need to)!

By this time you should already have:

• set a date
• reserved a location
• outlined an initial cost estimate
• prepared an invitation list
  

  and

• announced the reunion to your family

Next, it's time to:

• finalize the budget and decide how expenses will be paid for
• determine activities and/or entertainment
• think through the food plan

Besides planning my own family's reunion, chasing after my kids and cooking for the family, I also recently learned all about the in's and out's of planning a family reunion cruise. Did you know that if you're the reunion planner or the person representing the group, that you could get your cruise for free??

I've also been working on a new web site! After discovering Heritage Makers and all of the amazing family bonding activities that you can create with its easy-to-use online software, I got so excited to share that I decided a new website was in order! It's called Photo-Gifts-And-Ideas.com and I invite you to check it out. Right now it's just bare-bones but I have more ideas than I can keep up with!
